I’m testing LibreOffice 5.1 on a new laptop (Lenovo A556) using Linux Mint 18, and I’ve found that if I try to scroll a Writer document that contains a few images, when the images are on screen scrolling gets very slow.
I’ve tried messing with the “harware acceleration” options but nothing changes. The only workaround I’ve managed to find was installing LibreOffice 3.6 (tried 4.0.6 and 5.0 too).
What can I try to get a newer LO to scroll normally?
For the record, I tried version 5.4.5 and it’s back to normal now. (I have not tried versions between 5.1 and 5.4.5)
