Selecting Bullets and Numbering in Writer Crashes LibreOffice

I have LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.3.2
Build ID: 40m0(Build:2)
Locale: en_US
Platform: openSUSE KDE 13.1

I discovered that selecting Bullets and Numbering from the Context Menu or the Top Menu (“Format”) crashes this version of LibreOffice on my computer; I have reinstalled LibreOffice Writer (among other things) and the problem was not fixed. Shall I return to an older version or is a newer one about to be released that addresses this problem?

Just updated LibreOffice from 4.4.3.2-288-1 to 4.4.3.2-307.1 last night and the problem is now gone; the BULLETS AND NUMBERING works from the Format Menu and the Context Menu, on new documents and already created & modified documents.
