Hi,

Why sentences on each line are surrounded by a box? Is it possible to remove boxes so I can edit the text?

Each line is in a separate text box which is what you can see. You can click on the edge of the text box and drag it wider if needed.
If you want to edit a whole paragraph, or page, you can select the text boxes you require and then click Shape > Consolidate text and all the selected text boxes will be merged into a single text box. Cheers, Al
Note that Text boxes are not paragraph text and have reduced methods available for formatting.
Sometimes, I find it easier to copy all the text from a pdf reader, paste as unformatted text into Writer, then apply Text Body formatting to it all, then go through and apply Heading and other styles to that which should not be Text Body.
Hi Earnest,
Thank you
