I’m working in a geometric manual so I have to put a lot of figures on it. My question is:
When you create a geometric figure with the Draw function in Writer, is there a way to label certain elements in the figure? ie. Points ( Vertex A, B, C…) sides (side AB, BC,…) and attach to it, that it’s when I move the figure the label move whitin?
Use TextBox objects for labeling. all the rest is positioning and grouping.
Note my remark to your recent question concerning the working in ‘Draw’.
Working on a geometric manual, you will surely know that you need to spend some time for learning the basics thoroughly. Did you already download a ‘Draw’ manual?
Good, that help me to solve my current problem. But you are right, I need to spend time learning how to use Draw, I though with the Write component will be enough but a geometric manual it’s kind of plenty of work. Where I can download a comprehensive ‘Draw’ manual?
For every document type of LibreOffice you find the software discussed in “complete books”, and also in single chapters of your specific interest here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications#LibreOffice_Draw_Guide.
Awesome! thank you.
