I don’t know what happened. When I enter my data, nothing happens in my column, it doesn’t sum. On any page. That’s the only issue I notice, who knows what else has occurred. I don’t really know what to ask. It’s a budget and when I enter amounts, it doesn’t sum, or when I hit SUM, it sums but the other linked cells don’t and when I remove the data the sum remains as if it summed. I don’t know what to do. I have followed ALL the steps I could: Reinstall, Open safe mode, etc…I’m at my wit’s end. I DO NOT want to lose YEARS worth of work! Please help.
And in this case, before continuing to search for a solution to the problem, keep several backup copies of the spreadsheet in its current state - this will allow you to look for a solution and not make things worse.
Copy the file to another location on the disk, copy it to a flash drive, and finally send it to yourself by email (so it will be in Sent and Inbox).
Now that you already know that it can’t get any worse, calm down and tell us more about your file: what is the file size, how many sheets are there, how long ago have you restarted your computer, what operating system is on your computer, what version of LibreOffice is you using, how a long time ago you discovered a problem, is there a checkbox next to the menu item Data - Calculate - AutoCalculate, tried running Calk in Restart in Safe Mode etc.
