Hi there.
I’m currently using even pages to make my document more readable and show new chapters. However, whenever a blank page is added, it (unsuprisingly) doesn’t show the page number, which can make flicking through the printout a bit annoying for readers.
Can anyone suggest a way to have headers on blank pages?

Presently this is not possible: automatic blank pages are … blank.
I remember a discussion about it on BugZilla but I can’t instantly find back the reference.
At the very end after all editing, you could go through from the beginning adding page breaks manually to replace the automatically generated blank pages
That’s true - but it goes against the whole point of automatically added pages, which is that I don’t spend my time formatting, but rather just create content. I think I’ll just have to manage with the way it is.

I agree it goes against the grain but it is what I do for illustrations in a document. I go through from the beginning and make sure they are correctly placed. In that workflow replacing blank pages with blank pages is only marginally more work
