Which version for Windows 7 - no service packs?

Can anyone tell me what is the most recent version of Libre Office that can be installed on a PC running Windows 7 (64-bit) with no service packs? Let me stress that I am aware of the risks. I know that these old versions are no longer supported and do not receive updates, bug fixes or patches. Nevertheless, I need to install it on a Windows 7 machine that is still in use. I think I had 6.4 on an old machine controlling a printer, otherwise try the 5.4.7 as in the following (german) thread. (Generally I recommend to test, if a “light” linux like LUbuntu or Mint/xfce is a better choice. Maybe more RAM is also abcheap option today…)

Welche Libre-Version wird für Windows XP empfohlen?

Wer hat Erfahrungen? Auf libreoffice.org steht, dass Windows XP ab 6.0.0 nicht mehr unterstützt wird. Auf Download-Seiten wie chip.de steht, dass auch die neuesten Versionen bis 6.4.3 unter Windows XP laufen. Welche Version sollte ich unter Windows XP installieren? (Hintergrund: Ich möchte einen alten Rechner aktivieren für eines meiner Kinder für die Schule, für die Hausaufgaben.)
