Two days ago I upgraded my Ubuntu 12.04 to 16.04 (fresh install). Everything seems to work in LibreOffice 5.1.6.2 except in Impress. In the Slide Sorter view there is no way to activate the Slides per Row button in the Slide Sorter Toolbar (that should appear at the bottom). This is annoying since I have only one size for the slides, not convenient when ones needs to moves the slides from one position to another. I did everything with the View menu activating all slides toolbars but nothing happens … Is this a bug? Can someone help me? I work a lot with presentations. I’ve been using LibreOffice (Linux) since 2011. The last version I used was LO 3.5.x.x that worked perfectly!!!
Hello @Tamakun,
To add the “Slides Per Row” field to your Slide Sorter Toolbar, you could try the following steps:
- in LibreOffice Impress, select the menu
"Tools : Customize..."
, - in the dialog that pops up, select the tab called
"Toolbars"
, - in the dropdown listbox called
"Toolbar"
, select the item"Slide Sorter"
, - Click on the
"Add Command..."
button on the right, - in the dialog that pops up, in the listbox called
"Category"
, select the item"Modify"
, - in the listbox
"Commands"
, scroll down and select the item"Slides Per Row"
, - Click on the
"Add"
button, - Back in the Customize dialog, click on the button
"OK"
.
