I have been using Open Office and decided to switch to Libre Office, but I’m ready to switch back because of a silly, obnoxious bug in the system.
I am using a new Lenovo laptop with Windows 10.
Scrolling in Libre Office using the touchpad is ridiculous. The pages leap past and one must go up and down several times, refining finger movement until you can zero in on the spot you want, but then, there’s a high probability that the page will jump when you remove your fingers from the touchpad.
It’s very frustrating!
I’ve been searching for a solution and find this exact complaint going back for years, but never any sort of reasonable solution offered.
People make suggestions about changing mouse settings in the OS - which helps in Libre Office, but makes scrolling too slow in every other application - or tweaking a couple of settings in Libre Office - which do little to nothing for the problem.
Come on developers. This has been a common complaint for years and we’re still not getting any solutions.
I prefer Libre Office for several reasons, but unless this issue can be corrected, I am going to switch back to Open.
