[solved]Can not sort table in database form

Hi. I’ve made a plant database for designing edible landscapes however I can’t figure out how to reorder the plants in one of the tables in the form called “3)What plants could grow? The Microclimate”
For example: when I click the “sort” (ZA) icon the sort order dialogue pops up and I select the “Height” field from the drop down menu and click “OK” … nothing happens.
I would expect the order to change unless they were already sorted that way (which they are not).
The other tables on the form are working as they should.

On Ubuntu 18.04 Mate with LO v6.4.2.2 (TDF) I see no problem:

I get the correct sequence using your mentioned method or selecting the Height column and then the ascending sort icon.

Thanks for letting me know. I am using LO 6.0.6.7.3. I will upgrade and see if that helps.

Thanks again for letting me know. I upgraded to LO v6.4.2 and I still have the same issue I’m on Linux Lite 4.4. I wonder if it could have something to do with my linux distribution?

As it turns out the database query is not working properly so I’ve opened a new question.

Hi. I have a database with a query named “plot_availability_characteristics”. When I open the query and try to sort it by any of the columns nothing happens. I do not have this issue with any of the other queries in the database.
