Solved Libre office not starting, Service manager not available missing ">"

The program cannot be started.
The service manager is not available.
(“missing ‘>’ in file:///home/dr-smit/.config/libreoffice/4/user/uno_packages/cache/registry/com.sun.star.comp.deployment.component.PackageRegistryBackend/common.rdb”)
Start setup application to repair the installation from CD, or the folder containing the installation packages.
I have tried

1. google,
2. installed Libreoffice 4.1,
3. unintalled lireoffice 3 and 4,
4. reinstalled through Ubuntu Software centre
   I continue to get this error
   Please help
