Split database no connection

Windows 10 PC
LO version 7.6.4.1 64 bit

I have a split database that was open when I suffered a power loss. When I restarted my PC and tried to open the DB LibreOffice asked if I wanted to recover the DB. I did so but now it doesn’t work. Two error messages as follows:-

The connection to the data source “Split_HSQLDB_2.3.2_Wizard_v3d” could not be established.

SQL Status: S1000
Error code: -451

Database lock acquisition failure: lockFile: org.hsqldb.persist.LockFile@f5421ba3[file =C:\Users*\Documents*\Database\Split\database\mydb.lck, exists=true, locked=false, valid=false, ] method: checkMagic magic: ‘0000000000000000’

Can this be recovered?

Remove mydb.lck and try again.

If it had been an emedded database, all data might be lost now. Yes, shut down the database connection and backup now!
