Split Table but Lists Remain Connected - How to Split Lists

I split a table that had a numbered list in one of the columns. I can restart the numbering in the second, split, table but if I change it from 1) to A) the first table is also changed. They are somehow still connected.

How can I get both lists, in both tables, to be independant.

1. In the Sidebar, select Styles > List Styles
   
2. Select the list in the second table and then double-click Numbering ABC to apply that Style. You can modify the the style by right clicking it and selecting Edit Style
3. This is a good opportunity the give the first table Numbering 123 style
