Editing a large Writer document: is there a possibility to view the same file in two windows – one window with the current editing point, the other window to browse through the file?
If not, how do you easily edit large documents in Writer?
Use Window → New window.

Menu ‘Window’ > ‘New Window’.
As far as I know ther eis no automatic tiling. You have to arrange the windows manually.
