Startup time / open libreoffice takes now 5 seconds more with 24.8.2

hello,
if i start libreoffice it takes more than 5 seconds longer than the last version.
i ve the issue on more than 1 computer. the issue is with windows 11 and windows 10.

open writer or calc takes round about 7 seconds in older releases it just starts direct.

i ve attached an screenshot from process monitor with “times” there is an delay about 5 seconds from loading soffice.bin to soffice.exe

thanks for the help

i try to search on bugzilla, but i am too stupid to use the search function

Have you checked the box under
Tools > Options > LibreOffice > General > LibreOffice Quickstarter ?

Your screenshot (cut as much as nearly useless) shows (1) closing soffice.bin, and (2) after ~5 s, reading soffice.exe - both within soffice.exe, which itself is just a launcher, that doesn’t do any work itself. Its timings of random things have no meaning.

You would need to investigate more, and if you are interested in actual timing, profile soffice.bin process (although it’s unlikely that file IO would give you much - rather, it may be useful to check what changes in configuration / environment / files produce the delay, or help to decrease it).

Hello,
i thought there is no quickstarte more available at libreoffice, i am wrong?
i found different threads who told me that the startet is eol

It’s removed from Linux. It is not even planned for removal on Windows, which you obviously use.
