Can anyone please tell me how I can stop Libre Office Calc from changing characters I type?
I have a column with location description and when I type
“Adders - Cameras”, Libre Office changes it to “Adders – Cameras” (changing the “-” character) and I wind up with a list that is not consistent and I cannot resort via that column.
The program is constantly changing what I type thinking I want something else and it makes my work difficult to sort.
I have looked in the Autocorrect options and this charchter is not mentioned there but it seems Libre Office is stubborn about changint it to a special character not on my keyboard so when I have to classify a new entry, I cannot just type “Adders - Something” without it being automatically changed
