Since updating LibreOffice to version l6.0 6.2, when I type a return/enter, the program changes the Paragraph Style setting for the paragraph above and/or the paragraph to come. I want my documents to all use the same Paragraph Style, and that was not an issue before updating. I’m using LibreOffice 6.0 6.2 in Windows 10.

Start your LibreOffice in SafeMode (see: Safe Mode) and check if problem is continued. If not, so rename or extinguish the office profile (depends on your operating system). If yes, upload an anonymized sample file for checking the “new feature”.

I tried safe mode and no change that I could find. FYI- I am using Windows 10, unfortunately. How can I upload a sample file here? Thank you for your help.
I upvoted your query so you should be able to manage upload. If this will not work use any uploader or filehosting service - you will find loads of them on the internet… - then provide the link to your file.

I checked your uploaded file and couldn’t detect any mistake. The first view is WEB view and I changed to NORMAL view.
I found two paragraph styles - first line and then empty paragraphs of the end: Default paragraph style.
The paragraphs in the middle of your file are connected to Text Body style.
Both styles are followed by the identical style. I could not note any difference between them.
To show the Text Body style you may modify the paragraph style (font | font effects | color) and the text will change the colour (not empty paragraphs).
The only advice I could give is to update LibreOffice because the 6.0.x versions seem to be a bit unstable from the view of today.
