When I sum 3 values using submations it does total it, however, if drag and highlight again, it just repeats the same numbers in leiu of running a continuous total?
What do you call “submations”? I’d guess clicking and choosing from the Sigma button for AutoSum, but then your “drag and highlight again” doesn’t makes sense. So what exactly are you doing?
Hard to describe if I highlight say 3 sells and click the E which will sub the three sells then highlight the 4 cells with the total, it REPEATS the number in the first calcuation in leiu of continuing to sum them on a on going basis… ?
How do you keep a RUNNING total>?
If the Values are in Column A, start in B2 with Formula:
=SUM($A$1:$A2)
and »pull down« B2 on the tiny square in the right/bottom corner of the cell-frame
