Suddenly a documents listed under 'recent documents' are not opening anymore

Hello,
Suddenly I run into problems when I’m trying to open a ‘recent document’.
The documents is still at the location when I opened it last time.
What could be the reason that LO is not opening the document anymore?
Just to answer some questions before hand:

  1. yes, the document still exist.
  2. yes the NAS is still running and sharing files
  3. and no, there is no ‘lock’ file in the directory of the odt file.
    Perhaps someone has an idea what is going on.

Open your file manager, go to the place where the document is stored and try to open it.

Certainly I have tried that. But that’s not working either. There must be something wrong wit the document.

This statement does not help anybody. What does actually happen when you try? Nothing? Error? Which error? Freeze? Crash? Can you see the file in your file manager?

You are the expert for your system…

But just as an idea: If you copy the file to some usb-device you could try to open it on another computer. If it opens there, re-think your theory…
.
You could also test, if the file opens from a local folder )not from your NAS).
