Hi. I am not a power user. I have a spreadsheet and I want to add the cells in a row across a variable number of columns, i.e. I subtract two numbers and get a result (65-45 = 20). that calc is the independent variable so it is the value i want to vary to see the different results. Now I want to add the 20 numbers in row C3 to c 22. I tried the sum function with a variable in the second number but that doesn’t work as I tried anyway. Any advice how to do that? TY!

Do you mean something like =SUM(OFFSET(C3;0;0;65-45;1))?
