Superscripts dissapear in libreoffice impress upon conversion to pdf or on print if fit to page is used

Hi, I’m using libreoffice version 24.5.2 on mac

When I try to have a superscript in a presentation, it dissapears upon printing or conversion to a pdf, if fit to page is enabled, otherwise it prints fine, see the following images(top impress, bottom left pdf without fit to page, bottom right pdf with fit to page):

Is there a way to use fit to page and still have superscripts appear?

May well be tdf#161990 - fixed in 24.2.6 and 24.8.0.

I tried upgrading to 24.8.0.2

The but seems to persist, so I think it’s another bug.

Again, it only happens if I select “fit to page”, so it could be that the two print options use different pdf pathways? Could it be that the bug you mention persists in “fit to page”?

Thanks for the help.

Edit:
I did find a workaround for printing something large on smaller paper though:
First convert to PDF (not through the print menu but through the save menu).
This should produce a proper looking pdf, which can then be printed to a smaller pagesize.

@mikekaganski The comment above.

I’m uncertain how this site works, so Sorry if I pinged you twice now, I forgot to add your name to my reply to your previous comment.

On stackoverflow it would only ping you if your name was included, hence the double comment.

No need to ping me. If that’s another bug, it needs to be filed.
