Suppressing blank lines in Mail Merge

I have tried the suggestions made by remelts in November 2019 and noted the comments by DavidJameson in July 2020.

With a Mac you have to drag and drop although there may be shortcuts on the Mac keyboard. This is the end result:

I wanted to show what I put in the Fields but, although I’ve been a Forum member for a while seem only o qualify as a new user.

Where did I go wrong. Incidentally neither the words Hidden Paragraph nor the title of the data source were in previous attempts.

I’ve resolved it. This is for Mac Users removing blank cells in your Data Source from the address block. If you have set up your form letter and, if you haven’t already done so go:
View/Data Source and click on your data source.
In the line for which you want to suppress blank lines:
Insert/Field/More Fields/Function, highlight Hidden Paragraph in the manu on the left, drag the relevant column heading in your data source into the Condition space at top right, place your cursor at the front and enter an exclamation mark as per my attachment. Do the same for the next address to which this condition may apply and repeat.
