SVG mysteriously blank in LibreOffice Draw

I am trying to use an SVG file in a LibreOffice drawing; it seems to work everywhere else (browsers, inkscape, even Emacs!) but shows up as a blank in LibreOffice Draw unless I select “Convert: To Bitmap” and then it looks fine.
I’d like to preserve it as an SVG as I eventually want to build a symbol library, but I don’t understand what’s going wrong here. I’ve even tried reloading it into inkscape and resaving in a variety of different formats (inkscape, standard, optimized) but they all appear to do the same thing. Any idea what this could be?
Running 24.2.7.2 under Ubuntu 24.04. Link to original image is below since I’m guessing as a new forum participant I can’t include an attachment.

No problem on:
Version: 25.2.6.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 520(Build:2)
CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 4:25.2.6~rc2-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo1
Calc: threaded

What you can do:

  • Try in Safe Mode again.
  • Update to 25.x version

EDIT
I additionally tested on (installed as parallel):
Version: 24.8.7.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: e07d0a63a46349d29051da79b1fde8160bab2a89
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE
Calc: threaded
No problem again.
