Switching off the feature "Highlight by hovering over a layer's tab" (draw)

Hello community,

in the last Release notes 24.8 the following feature was introduced:

" Hovering over a layer’s tab highlights the objects it contains. (Jim Raykowski) tdf#157255"
This might be helpful in some cases, but in my use case, it is not helpful for me.
Is there any possibility to deactivate this “highlighting” when hovering over the tabs? I did not find any possibility and would be happy to be able to switch it off.

Looking at the bug mentioned in your quote, scrolling to the bottom, you may find:

Jim Raykowski committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to “master”:
