System/version info

So running on Linux Mint.
I would like to be able to open each of a number of spreadsheets in the same place/same view.
So I have a number of spreadsheets with identical layouts (different info) and these are linked to other sheets in same file which are summaries of the individual sheets.
I want to check the same data in each individual sheet but every time I open a sheet I need to move to the relevant area - which becomes annoying when I just want to flick through 30 or so sheets.
I know I can shift & click or cntrl & click to select a number of sheet tabs and then making a change to one sheet will make the same change to all the sheets - but that doesn’t change the view -which is what I would like to do. And the area isn’t always the same so no point me freezing rows etc on individual sheets (and I think I would have to do that for each sheet).
I’ve read some things about tiling windows and grouping sheets and synchronising - not sure if they are for excel or for windows os but nothing is working for my set up (I can’t even tile 2 versions of the same file through LO/calc - I can do that using Linux -Super key & cursor etc.
Is there a way of doing what I want that I just can’t see - have I got a setting wrong somewhere?
Any help much appreciated - its one of those little things that starts to irritate me more than it probably should ! thanks
