Since I’ve updated LibreOffice to the latest version (5.0) I seem to have text alignment issues when arrows are concerned. If I type → the text is automatically converted into an arrow, as it should be and as it was even before the update, but then a few blank spaces are inserted and the paragraph alignment is meesed up. It’s hard to explain, but I hope that from the following image you can understand the situation (the only thing I have set up here is that the text should be justified in both the 1st and 2nd paragraphs).
I don’t understand why this happens, and another strange thing is that this issue seems to be there only with some fonts. If I use i.e. Liberation Serif there aren’t any problems, but if I use i.e. Palatino Linotype…everything is messed up once an arrow is typed in.
Can anyone help me to fix this? Thanks!
