Text Box Overflow

I am creating a fillable pdf form but the issue i am having is that once created you can type in as much info in a box as you want and then this cannot be seen.

I understand that you can set character count but this does not work very well. If you have a box set to say 16 characters and you type in uppercase thats fine, but if you type in lower case then this only fills half the box.

Is there a way to set the text box boundaries as the character stop. You can do this in and Adobe Pro version when creating fillable pdfs.

I dont want to set a character amount i am asking if when the text box is full then it wont allow you to type any more.

As i said the character count is not a good option as it depends if you type in upper or lower case. With lower case it will only fill half the box than if you typed in upper case.

Choose a fixed width font.

This makes no difference to the amount of letters you can type in to a text box.
