Hi,
I wonder if someone can help. I have been using LibreOffice for years on Macbook air (MacOS Monterey ver 12.4) without any major issues. Over the last year, the text on my presentations are very unpredictable.
What I mean is, When I write text in slides, some of the text is changing colour from white to black and not allowing me to change back to white… I tried to check the font and the style to make sure that I am not selecting some restricted fonts… The formatting seems ok, except for the colour of the text.
I un-installed the software and re-installed the latest version (ver 7.3.3.2) and the same problem happens again.
Look forward to hearing back from anyone who can explain what is happening.
Regards
The tag you specified, “Base”, does not correlate with the “Slide” mentioned in the text. Please complete your initial question and provide clarity to give you the best possible answer. Thank you.
In the absence of an anonymised sample, it can only be guesswork. I cannot recreate your issue, although I can create the reverse where text appears to be forced to white by setting Embossed, Engraved, or Outline. I would be inclined to check the settings for the recalcitrant paragraphs in Format > Character > Font Effects
Uninstalling is unlikely to fix corruption errors as the User Profile is not altered. If you think it might be corruption in LibreOffice you could see if issue occurs in LibreOffice Safe Mode which opens with a fresh temporary profile. Click Help > Restart in Safe Mode > Continue in Safe Mode then open your document and check.
