This has been working beautifully, but yesterday I started having issues with it deleting all my text. I removed most of the other defaulted options, and it worked on the third or fourth try, but today it is consistently just removing my texts. It doesn’t touch the header, but it blanks out everything else. TBC, I go to Tools - AutoCorrect - …Options, and click Remove Blank Paragraphs; then I go back to Tools – AutoCorrect – Apply. On the bottom the screen the progress bar looks likes the feature is working, but then the text is gone. I’ve tried copying the text to another document. Doesn’t work there either. I’m at a loss and this book is too long for me to remove blank paragraphs one by one, so please HELP.

Don’t know your problem, but you may use Search and replace:
Search for ^$
Leave replace box empty
Select the box for regular expressions.
Replace all …
(Backup first, and check if the result is to your liking before saving.)
