Text selection box color

I needed to change my document color to something less stark (the white hurts my eyes after long periods), which was fine, but the selection box is still this blue-gray, which looks terrible with the ivory color I selected for the document background. I can’t find any possible way to change any selections I make to a different color.

I have windows 10, and libreoffice v5.0.3 [I had a newer version but it kept crashing for some reason].

Is there any way to change the color of the selection box? Or am I just stuck with something I can’t really stand to look at?

Frequently, selection highlighting color is taken from the OS settings (it would then be a part of the UI theme). This is at least the case under MacOS and Linux. Try to look under “Settings and parameters” in the Start menu.
