The connection to the data source "addresses" could not be established

Trying to mail merge and have had no problems until today.
File>wizard>address data source> and set everything up.
Go to view data sources and I get "The connection to the data source “probate " could not be established.” when i click on the table under addresses.

I have tried saving the spreadsheet file in multiple formats, renaming, and deleting and attempting to import again. No luck.

Please provide more information:

• Is your primary data source a Calc sheet or a Base sample of records?
• If it is a Base table you don’t need the wizard.
• If it is a Calc table the wizard could be helpful, but did you save the generated and connected Base file and do you know where?

If you did everything correctly there could be a problem within your LO profile. So try menu Help | Restart in Safe Mode…
Also check for hidden lock-files and delete them if necessary.
