No SDBC driver was found for the URL ‘sdbc:embedded.firebird’.

LO 6.1.5.2
MX Linux 19

Tools>Options>Advanced shows JRE already installed
Vendor Debian, version 11.0.7

Another post mentioned that libreoffice-sdbc-hsqldb needs to be installed, and I’ve confirmed it is (1:6.1.5-3+deb10u6)

What am I missing? Is there any more info I need to provide? Thanks

… URL ‘sdbc:embedded.firebird’.
… sdbc-hsqldb needs to be installed

You see the divergence? Check package libreoffice-sdbc-firebird is installed (probably sudo apt install libreoffice-sdbc-firebird will do that).

Good grief, how did I miss that?! Thanks, that did the trick perfectly! Thanks (and now I’m unable to find how to mark this as solved…)

I tend to not answer a question but commenting, if the solution is not yet clear. According to your last comment, the solution is clear now and I’ve provided an answer, which you could mark as solved by clicking the check mark (:heavy_check_mark:) next to the answer.

For the records (according to OP’s comment)

Install package libreoffice-sdbc-firebird using sudo apt install libreoffice-sdbc-firebird

Hope that helps.
