The folder you selected does not contain a Java runtime environment. Please select a different folder.

I have installed;

Version: 6.4.3.2 (x64)
Build ID: 747b5d0ebf89f41c860ec2a39efd7cb15b54f2d8
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: GL; VCL: win;
Locale: en-AU (en_AU); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

I have also installed;

JAVA jre-8u251-windows-i586

In LibreOffice went to Tools - Options - Advanced and clicked “Use a Java runtime environment”, selected ADD and clicked on the JAVA floder nothing seems to work and I am sure you are sick of people like me asking the question but I do need some advice.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,

Please see links in comments on this post → I have JAVA installed, so why is Base telling me I need to download a JRE?

Thank you very much for your response, the program now works.

Hello

your installed version jre-8u251-windows-i586 is 32-bit and your installed version of LibreOffice (Version: 6.4.3.2 (x64) ) is 64-bit and hence bitness doesn’t mach. You need jre-8u251-windows-x64.exe
