I am trying to work with a few old Access database files I created years ago. When I couldn’t get Base to open them, I tried creating a new database. That’s when I got the message about needing a JRE. I thought having JAVA installed is having a JRE installed. Is it not? And, if not, where can I download one that Base will accept?
