The Layout / Page Breaks are not refreshed automatically

I am using the formats Heading 1, Heading 2, Text Body, etc. Page breaks happen as they should. However, if I delete content, automatic page breaks just stay, as if the document layout wouldn’t get refreshed. Example:
A list doesn’t fit on one page, so part of it goes to a new page automatically. I delete content before the list. It would now fit onto the page completely, but the page break remains (part of the list is still on the new page). If I press backspace on the new page, then CTRL-Z, the list point doesn’t jump back to the new page, but jumps onto the first page, where it should have been all along. However, the next list point stays on the new page, even though it would fit on the first page.

The same happens with Headings and consecutive paragraphs. It has nothing to do with Orphan or Widow Control. Headings even get split from the following paragraph, even though “Keep with next paragraph” is turned on.

Edit: the problem was I had “Keep with next paragraph” turned on for all paragraph styles. With that turned off for Text Body, all the page breaks are where they should be.

Hello @tomp0801,
Are you working with a .doc(x) or an .odt file?
The list items, are with Keep with next paragraph turned on?
Which LibreOffice version are you using?
You can edit your question to add the new info there. Thanks.

Okay, I checked Keep with next paragraph for the list items (the Text Body format), and it was turned on. This caused the problem, I guess because everything in the whole document was set to be kept with the next paragraph. Thank you!
