Hello. I am trying to learn LibreOffice Base with version 7.5 on a Windows 10 Pro desktop computer.
While in a Form, I am unable to easily view the next record because the “Next Record” and “Last Record” icons are DISABLED on the Navigation toolbar. Is this a bug… or am I missing something? How may I browse through the records in Form-View?

Have you confirmed the filter does match multiple items? Maybe form vs sub form issue?

I’m not sure what happened, but both buttons now work (although they STILL appear to be disabled because they are greyed out).
Another weird anomaly is that there are 1,177 records in this database, but the form shows only a total of 41*
.

But… if I click the “Last Record” greyed-out button, it does display the last record, as well as the correct 1177 total number of records. And if I go back to the first record, it now shows the correct 1177 records.

I don’t know… it appears to be functional now, just weird. lol

Your 41* means there are 41 records loaded and the * means more to load. When going to end it finishes loading all. If going through singly, when you get to 41 next single will load another buffer of records.

As for the greyed out buttons, did not look at that when I was in Win10. May be a bug you should report here → https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/

On your picture wich shows the last record you have three buttons “greyed out” = darker. Maybe somebody decided to “light-out” buttons in your theme / dark-mode…
Just an update: You’re right… changing the theme in Tools > Options solved the issue of the “greyed out” navigation buttons.
