After doing an apparently successful delete table, it stubbornly keeps reappearing, even when I copy/paste the ‘cleared’ page to a brand new file!
btw, a similar thing is happening with a graphic I deleted and which keeps reappearing on another page!!!
Is it me or is it a bug?
Ps I have LibreOffice 7.5.1.2 (x86_64)

Have you tried to close and reopend the file?
What format are you using to save the document (.odt, .docx)?
Do you have a clipboard manager?
Try with F5 (the Navigator) to see if the graphic (and also the table could be an image inserted) was anchored to some out of sight element.
