I have read the user guide for Libreoffice Writer and it says that there are 8 steps in Mail Merge Wizrd.
But in my system it is only showi 4 steps. I have read the other question that states that the Options are grayed out.
But they are not even grayed out. They are just not visible.
All (6.0 PDF docs), including your link, show parts with 8 steps. Look starting on page 313 Using the Mail Merge Wizard to create a form letter
. Go down a few pages and screens go from 5 steps to 8. The description includes 8 steps.
@Ratslinger: Thanks! I needed to look through it all, not only the first page with 5-step wizard screenshot, assuming it was updated. I’m sorry; and that is definitely a very bad oversight of documentation team…
I also wrote a wrong version number since which that was changed (actually it was 5.2); I only can tell that yesterday was not the day I should have done something requiring responsibility.
Then I can only suggest using help (where only 5 steps are described, I tested I swear! :-)), and file a bug against documentation.

Well, that has been updated in the v6.4 of the Getting Started Guide and will be updated in the Writer Guide 6.4.
