The text in dark theme turn into dark too

Hello.
I’m using LibreOffice 25.2.0.3 in MacOS Sequoia 15.3
When my Libreoffice apperance turn in to dark theme at night, the text darker and it seems a bug. I think the text must in contrast with the theme.
How can I fix it?

Thank you.

What is the configuration of Default Paragraph Style and Body Text paragraph styles? I am mainly interested in Font Effects tab.

Hi, it’s default.
I’ve change theme into light.

No, it is not default!

Press Reset to Parent to revert to default. Check Font color is back to Automatic. If is not, force it to Automatic.

Once you have done that on Default Paragraph Style, check it has been forwarded to Body Text.

I notice that your style is named Default. It is not a built-in style unless MacOS packagers changed built-in style names. What does General tab show?

Thank you, I changed the Font Effects tab follow your instruction.
That is General Tab:

But after I press Reset to Parent in Body A or Default Style, when I turn my Writer into dark theme, the text still darker.

You show yet another style: Body A. This is a style you created yourself and it does not even inherit from Default Paragraph Style, meaning it won’t react automatically to changes to its “environment”.

Have you checked that Font color has reverted to Automatic?

The screenshot shows font colour is set to Black, which is not not helpful in dark mode.

I upload 3 screenshot.

You seem to have a real mess in your style collection. Default Paragraph Style (DFS) is fixed, but Defaulr and Body A don’t inherit from DFS. Therefore they don’t inherit its fix.

Attach a reduced copy of your document (1 page is enough) for style analysis.

I’m sorry, but I don’t have a “solution” so much as a poor workaround. I also see this behavior and it look like a bug to me since it has appeared in LO 25.2.0.3. I use MacOS 15.2.

To replicate, I just open a document. It will appear exactly as the OP’s example. This should be easily replicated by anyone using largely default settings, as I do. I only change default font margins.

To workaround this bug, I have to change the OS theme to “light”.
