Theme color doesn't reset in Tools - Options - Personalization

Oddly, when in Tools - Options - Personalization I set the background theme to one of the pre-installed colors, the background changes to the selected color, and remains so when I reset to the default theme until I restart LibreOffice. That looks like a bug to me, but it may be entirely my fault. Can anyone confirm this?

Do you have tried resetting the user profile?

On my LinuxMint 19.3 the background did not get back to the original after a first restart of LO, but after a second one.
