Tiled Printing/printing across multiple pages in Draw

When I go to print an image across multiple pages at a specific size, ie 35cm x 20cm, my previous workflow was to cut off the margins on some pages, then overlap with others to combine the pages into a large sheet.

However, when printing with Draw, I get the size (ie 35cm x 20cm) with one margin included, as opposed to zero margin included (which is what I want and have previously achieved with MS publisher).

How can I print across multiple pages with no margin included?

My version is: 26.2.5.2 620(Build:2)

It may be a problem with the printer limitation and not with Draw.

• Many printers cannot print on the entire sheet of paper, and maintain some margins for paper feeding.

The problem that I see is the print paper gets the same orientation as the drawing paper. An A1 sheet in portrait is the size of 8 landscape A4 sheets but LibreOffice cannot tile the pages in landscape if the drawing is in portrait. Instead it uses an extra sheet of paper to create the tile, that is 9 sheets instead of 8

You could export to pdf and use Adobe Reader’s tiling but that still defaults to the same orientation so there is a margin all the way round.

I do not care about the outside margins.

I am talking about the margins between each page in the tile, internally.

I am expecting libreoffice to account for this, as MS publisher has the capacity to do

Then, as suggested before, make sure that you set your printer to print borderless.

To get an overlap, then export the document to pdf and then use Adobe Reader to set overlap
