How do I turn off notifications? This morning I had 99 of them posted to me. I did not specify that I was watching any of them.
Click on your avatar top RH corner of screen (the G), click the rightmost icon (silhouette of a person with tool tip Preferences) to access your profile. Then choose Preferences which will give you a number of options, one of which is Preferences. Then choose Emails; you may want to check other settings while you are there.

I have done this, and have now changed some settings, but I must say that they are not at all intuitive. While it has one setting for tracking the posts that I make, it now seems to preclude all others. It was not that I wasn’t interested in how to solve other problems, but I didn’t want them automatically tagged to me. Well, we’ll see how my new settings work.
