Track Changes not working

Track Changes not working. LibreOffice 7.3.3 (though it hasn’t worked in prior releases either). Windows 10.

Not much to go on here with what little you have told us.

You have Edit > Track Changes > Record checked?

You have Edit > Track Changes > Show checked?

If two people are using the document, both have to have these checked.

Record and Show cannot be checked - clicking them has no effect.

Tools > Options > User Data completed?
File > Properties > Apply User Data checked?

Have you tried the Track Changes toolbar? Can those be used?

I use Track Changes all the time between myself and my editor who uses Word. We have no problems on either end. I do know that the Properties > User Data has caused issues for me in the past with odd things greyed and unusable.
