I created some text in Word and want to select it and then paste it into a LibreOffice document, but every time I do it comes out as an image in a box with no text. How do I recover the text? I’m using LibreOffice 7.5.1.2 and Word 16.75
Try to paste it as unformatted text Ctrl+Shift+V.
If this does not work could it be that a PDF was loaded in Word?

the unformated text suggestion didn’t do a thing.
I followed Word instructions to unformat the selected text, but that did not produce a positive result. I guess I’ll just have to retype what I wrote in Word.
Turn off your clipboard manager, or if you have windows clipboard history turned on, then turn off sharing with other devices in Start menu > Settings > System Clipboard > Sync across your devices
