Trying to use advanced data filter in calc

Using KDE Neon Plasma 5.21 Libreoffice version of is 6.4.6.2 calc
I have a large spreadsheet, close to 900,000 records and need to extract a subset of the data.

I followed the steps, looks simple, but all that I get after I click ok is the column heading names, without any Data (I expect about 220 records).

Any suggestions?

needs more detailed explanation or a sample of your file, not the 900k records, just some dozen and the filter definition …

I found out in the meantime that in order to get a result, I had to check some “Options” in Libreoffice->Calc Wild cards
