In the latest updates to LibreOffice some guru decided the Recent files should now become a ‘sorted into categories’ recent files which I definitely do not need. it definitely makes it harder to get the last few documents that had been used,up and running.
Is there a way to turn this annoyance off?
I have scanned through the expert configuration but did not find an obvious edit?

P.S. ShowCurrentModuleOnly=False removes only the filtering but not the sorting.
Thanks, after trying this I had a problem with two files that were always first on the list (almost a “sticky file” issue and that seems to have gone now too.
What I was aiming for was a list on chronolgical order and flipping the false / true a couple of times and deleteing the two “sticky” files from the list and returning them, seems to have shaken the program into shape.
Note that for 25.2 there is a menu option. Click File > Recent Documents > Current module only to toggle between all modules and current module.
I probably didn’t make the original question clear? Originally files of all types were listed chronologically. Then the powers that be seemed to put different file types into groups, again chronologically which I didn’t like.
Added to this was a weird event that caused spaces to appear on the LO recent files graphical display. All this went away with me switching as desribed and removing some files from the recent’s list. Why I do not know but something was out of kilter.
Later I had another problem with text boxes and this is the fourth time at least LO has generated problems. I assume out of rushing to get the latest out rather than direct sabotage of ‘free andopen systems’ which is a target on the list politically…
