Unable to choose JRE in Base 24.2 Snap, but can in 7.6.x OSTW RPM

I’m using cpe:/o:opensuse:tumbleweed:20240125 (per cat -vbET '/etc/os-release' | grep 'CPE_NAME=').

1. https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Factory/standard/x86_64/libreoffice-7.6.4.1-1.2.x86_64.rpm

   

2. sudo snap install libreoffice --channel=latest/edge
   

   

Any ideas of why? I don’t think I’ve overriden any permissions, and I don’t know of an installable separate snap JRE package. If not, I’ll report this as a bug.
