Unable to insert rows

It seems impossible to insert a row or column in LO Calc

Works for me.

Which version of the LO Calc are you using?

Hi! Thanks or asking! Calc 7.4.2.3

Filled cells cannot be shifted
beyond the sheet.

Please, will you explain to me how to do it? The above is the error message I get when I use the command : Insert cells above.
It used to work for me, but after an update I am suck.
Thanks in advance!

You try to insert X columns but there are less than X empty columns on the right side of the sheet.
You try to insert Y rows but there are less than Y empty rows at the bottom of the sheet.

Hit Ctrl+End. This jumps to the bottom-right corner cell of the used area.
If this cell is empty, Ctrl+Up jumps to the next non-empty cell above, Ctrl+Left jumps to the next non-empty cell before.

Thanks for trying, but CTRL+End goes nowhere.
Also, I was able to insert a row between 2 rows with words in them. When I hit one cell in a row of sheets and hit: “insert above”, then a new row was inserted all the way over the sheet. I work from various accounts which have to be inserted according to date - on one sheet.
Any suggestions?

Edit your question, and share the file. If Crrl+End don’t work for you, I/we can’t guess. Maybe a corrupted user profile, I do not think that.
