Unable to split merged cells

Hello,
I’m using LibreOffice Version 7.3.1.3 and I’m trying to split a merged cell into 4 cells. I’ve attached an image, on the left side it shows the option to split but on the right (my version of office) it doesn’t. Is this option no longer available?
