Does anybody know who is the author of marvelous change in 7.4.0.1 (Win10x64)? It shows the direction LTR/RTL at visible cursor if the LTR/RTL is mixed in the text.

That was commit c7a32dab567cce8ee435c65299ec60b638700a35, that increased a little what was always present in LibreOffice (and prior to it). At some stage in LibreOffice between OOo 3.2.0 and OOo 3.3.0, it was simply made unreadable from the prior good state.

So now I’m not so confused what happend when I press Del or Backspace :-).
At least I sent a thank-you email to Caolán.
Of course there are some situations on the boundaries of LRT/RTL where the behavior of Del or Bksp is unexpected, but now I have more experiences with LTR/RTL texts than before an years, and now I know my contemporary request on bugzilla was more complicated and more unpractical.
